    The legendary Inca Trail is the most requested route by all the adventurers who come to Peru to meet Machu Picchu, in Cusco. In Inca times, this path was a trail of pilgrimage and purification to reach the administrative centers of the Inca Pachacutec.

    This is one of the most famous routes in Latin America and is the most adventurous way to reach the Inca citadel, for those travelers who want to do the walk on foot and wish to have contact with nature and the empire spirit from the past.

    It is called the “Inca trek” and it is requested by thousands of local and international tourists and only about 500 people are allowed to do it per day, who have to go to an agency to have the proper specialized guide.
    Along the way, travelers can see archaeological sites, astonishing mountains and glaciers, ecosystems, tropical forests and over 400 species of birds.
