    If you are an adventurous and risky tourist and you like to feel adrenalin next to beautiful landscapes, we show you five places where you could practice this adventure sport known in Peru as canoeing or rafting.

    1- Colca valley: We recommend you to travel to this place on December. This place has one of the most popular routes because of the river velocity (type III) and its geographic location.
    2- Apurimac river: We must be prepared because the route is very demanding. It demands a good physical effort. According to recognized international magazines, this is one of the best places in the world to practice canoeing.
    3- Cañete river: It has different routes for everyone, both for beginner and for experts. It is only 2 hours away from Lima.
    4- Santa river: It has different routes that vary in distance and difficulty. Also, tourist can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Callejon de Huaylas.
    5- Urubamba river: It is located at the Sacred Valley of the Incas, one of the favorite places for canoeing lovers. The journey lasts approximately two hours.
