Este 25 de agosto se realizará una nueva edición de los Emmy Awards, donde premiaran y galardonarán a lo mejor de la industria de la televisión.

En la categoría Mejor Reality Show los nominados sonThe Amazing Race, Dancing With the Stars, Project Runway, So You Think Can Dance, Top Chef, The Voice, dejando de lado a American Idol. Sí, el legendario programa que busca a la próxima estrella de la música no competirá en la principal categoría para los realitys y programas de competencia.

Por parte de la exitosa serie de Games of Thrones, aparece en 19 categorías, Mejor Serie Dramática. Breaking Bad no se queda atrás con sus 16 nominaciones gracias a su última temporada (Mejor Drama y Mejor Actor,Bryan Cranston).

Cabe mencionar, que la ceremonia se realizará este 25 de agosto en el Teatro Nokia de Los Ángeles y el encargado de conducir el evento será el comediante estadounidense, p. Seth Meyers.
