El Chelsea del portugués José Mourinho debutará en su segunda etapa como técnico “blue” ante el recién ascendido Hull City.

El fin de semana del 17 de agosto el escocés David Moyes dirigirá en el Liberty Stadium el primer partido de liga que Manchester United disputará sin el veterano Alex Ferguson en el banquillo en los últimos 26 años.

El calendario de la Premier marca que en esa primera jornada los “blues” del español Fernando Torres se medirán en Stamford Bridge al conjunto del inglés Steve Bruce, que regresa al máximo nivel después de tres temporadas en la liga Championship, la segunda división.

El chileno Manuel Pellegrini vivirá por su parte su primer encuentro de Premier, al frente del Manchester City, en un encuentro en casa ante el Newcastle.

Tras el cese del italiano Roberto Mancini, Pellegrini asume el reto de dirigir una escuadra con estrellas como el argentino Sergio “Kun” Agüero y el español David Silva tras una campaña en la que los “citizens” no lograron sumar título alguno a sus vitrinas.

También en la primera jornada del campeonato inglés, el Arsenal del francés Arsène Wenger, que se aseguró el cuarto puesto en la tabla “in extremis” el último curso, abrirá la temporada en el Emirates Stadium ante el Aston Villa.

Otro recién ascendido, el Crystal Palace, recibirá en su vuelta a la Premier al Tottenham, clasificado para la Liga Europa y que luchó hasta la última jornada, sin éxito, para meterse en la Champions.
